Introduction to the powder classifier for coal mill:

Structural composition:

• Drive part:

usually composed of motor, reducer and coupling, etc., to provide power for the rotor of the powder classifier and drive it to rotate. The motor generally adopts a variable frequency motor, which can flexibly adjust the speed according to production needs.

• Swing part:

The core components include the rotor, which is equipped with blades of special shape. In addition, there is a spreading device, which is used to evenly spread the materials entering the powder classifier to the surroundings for better sorting.

• Shell part:

It is welded from steel plates to form the outer shell of the powder classifier, which plays a role in supporting and protecting the internal components. Guide blades are provided in the shell to guide the airflow to form a stable powder selection airflow field.

• Inlet and outlet parts:

including air inlet and air outlet, the air inlet is used to introduce dusty airflow, and the air outlet is used to discharge the airflow corresponding to the fine powder and coarse powder after sorting.

• Dust collecting device:

connected to the outlet of the powder classifier, used to collect the finished fine powder after powder selection. Common dust collecting devices include cyclone dust collector, bag dust collector, etc.

• Working principle:

The air containing coal powder from the wind-swept mill enters the powder concentrator through the lower air duct, and after being rectified by the inner cone, it decelerates and rises along the annular channel between the outer cone and the inner cone. Among them, the coarse powder slides into the coarse powder collection device along the side wall of the outer cone by gravity sedimentation to achieve gravity sorting. The air after gravity sorting carries the material particles and forms a stable horizontal vortex powder selection area between the guide vane and the rotor under the guidance of the guide vane and the rotation of the rotor. The dust particles moving in the vortex are affected by gravity, wind force and rotating centrifugal force at the same time. The fine and light particles are sucked into the rotor with the air flow, flow through the air outlet pipe and enter the dust collector behind, and are separated as finished fine powder; the coarse and heavy particles fall, gather in the coarse powder collection device through the inner cone, and return to the mill for re-grinding.
